In today’s day and age, it’s more important than ever for businesses to have a business website.
Yet, many businesses still don’t realize how important this is for their success. Most customers will visit your website before making a purchase, which means that having a website is crucial for building credibility and trust with your audience.
We recently surveyed 1,000 people and asked them what they look for on a business’ website. Here are the top reasons they gave us:
Brand. Customers also want to see what kind of experience they can expect from your brand before they even contact you or purchase anything from you.
Credibility. The most important thing to customers is trustworthiness. They want to know that you’re an established business that has been around for a while—and having a website helps them feel confident about your longevity.
Leads. When someone visits your business website, they’ll have the opportunity to fill in their information to receive emails from you about new products or promotions—which gives them a chance to learn more about what makes your brand unique!
Organic Traffic. Having your business website allows you to get your name out there and be found by potential customers. This is especially important if you run an eCommerce store or sell products online because you want people to find you when they search for what you offer.
Saving You Time + Customer Service. Your website is where all the information about your company lives, so it makes sense that this would be the place where people go when they want to find more about what your company does or how they can get in touch with someone from your team. Having this information readily available on one page will save both you and your customers time in the long run because they won’t have to search through multiple sites to find what they need.
Updates and Announcements. A website allows you to share news and updates with visitors in real-time. Whether it be an announcement about upcoming events or promotions or simply providing valuable content like whitepapers and ebooks – having one place where everything is centralized can save time and resources when it comes time for promotion or marketing campaigns.
Digital Marketing. When customers visit your site, they can find out more about your business and what you offer. This allows them to understand better what you do and how you can help them achieve their goals.
A website also allows you to showcase your products/services so that potential customers can easily access them. The more information they have about your business, the more likely they will trust you with their money!
The term ‘Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a process that aims to improve the position of your website in search engine results pages.
The higher your website is listed, the more people will see it.
SEO is related to how well your website content is optimized for search engines (website ranking), i.e., the way it’s written and structured. This can also be called organic SEO because it involves doing things that help improve your site’s performance without paying money for ads or links.
Blogs are websites or pages that are a part of a larger website. Typically, they contain articles and pictures or videos.
Companies use blogs to communicate with their customers and potential customers. The purpose of a corporate blog is to provide helpful information about the company’s products, services or processes. It can also share news about the company and its industry, answer customer questions and provide support for customer issues. A corporate blog can be updated regularly with new posts. However, it may only have one or two recent posts per week/month, depending on how frequently new content is needed for the blog topic.
